Whether you are interested in a summer job or a career in horticulture we have a variety of positions available every spring. We offer competitive rates of pay, benefits, equipment allowances, apprenticeship programs and a great working environment.

We are a seasonal business and we need people who are willing to work a lot of hours in the spring, rain or shine (including lots of weekends). Even once the busy season is past we still do most of our business on Saturday and Sunday so you should expect to work most weekends. This type of position is not for everyone. Career (hiring completed for 2011; may be room for horticulturists or transferring apprentices)

We are interested in hiring a range of career oriented candidates from those with solid backgrounds in horticulture to those with an interest in plants who might see apprenticeship as a road to a career. Although we are closed for three months every winter, salaried positions are available to the right candidates (horticultural apprentices will receive classroom training in winter).

Summer Job (hiring completed for 2011)

Seasonal positions, ideal for university and college students are available for people who want to work until the end of June (if you have another summer job) or people who want to work until August or September. We are looking for cashiers (expect some outside work) and for laborers who would unload trucks, load cars and perform plant maintenance and re-stocking. Customer relations experience is an asset.

Fulltime Job (positions will be available in September 2011)

Even if plants are not your thing we have a slot open for a product manager who would look after receiving, warehousing, re-stocking, inventorying and displaying several thousand different types of hardgoods. We also have an opening for a fulltime, (except winter) cashier. This is a small business and candidates should expect to be trained and to work in all areas of the operation with a focus on their primary position. Salary is also an option for these positions for the right candidate.
